I thought it would be really cool to be able to hear a rim before I sell it or test tone ideas without having to build a complete banjo. I also thought that potential customers might like to hear my rims before they buy them, so I made this rim tester.

The neck can be adjusted up or down and to any angle that could reasonably be used on a banjo.

The tailpiece can be positioned to sumulate the pressure from various tailpeices. In this picture it is simulating a No Knot tailpiece.
