Why so cheap? This banjo has features you might find on a banjo selling for $1,200 or more. I am selling at a low price for two reasons:

1.  I was making this neck as a custom reproduction neck for a customer, but I neglected one of his specifications. The neck was 90% completed when I discovered my error. I generally do not keep an inventory of instruments.

Specifically, I forgot to put a black veneer between the maple and the fingerboard. (Normally you see a black stripe from the side of the neck under the binding.)

2. During this pandemic, I have been investing in audio and video equipment. I would like to get a quick sale and have priced the banjo accordingly.

Why 27" scale and 20 frets? It places the bridge in the ideal location.
