Copyright Questions

A brief statement those concerned about copyright infringement.

The customer who commissioned the Arizona-themed banjo obtained the advice of a layer who assured him that "one-offs" either built by an individual or commissioned to be built by an individual are specificially protected under copyright law.

If I were to mass produce any item with copyrighted images, such as Wylie Coyote and the Roadrunner, I would violate copyright laws protecting these images. Since there will only be one banjo comissioned by and created for a single customer, I do not violate copyright laws by making this banjo or by selling it to the individual who commissioned it.
